Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

Before giving yourself a reason to be intrigued with Annapurna Base Camp Trekking, ask yourself, why would you want to go trekking for? Reflecting on yourself, you easily find these answers- adventure, new people, new place, and a lot of fun. New things to do and many unseen to be explored. And well, yes- you get all of that in an Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

Spectacular mountain views (of, course, you are going to a mountainous region), friendly people always willing to welcome you and various aspects the Gurkha culture (I mean the Gurung and the Limbus), you are set for an experience of a lifetime once you decide to be on the trials that lead you to the Annapurna Base Camp.

This place is about 200km east of Kathmandu- the capital city of Nepal and you would first want to get to another major city, Pokhara before starting your journey. You could board a bus, which could take you a day or an airplane, which will get you to the starting point in a matter of 30 minutes. From there, you will complete your journey, back and forth the Annapurna region in 7 to 12 days, depending on how much you can push your body. But don’t worry- this trekking is not as difficult as it sounds. But make sure you find the perfect season for this trek, March to May and September to December are the recommended months for an Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

Another thing to keep on the note is what you wear- have those clothes that keep you warm and comfortable at the same time. And also, for the most crucial part, don’t forget to have a sleeping bag with you and some energy bars, and you are good to go.

Don’t forget- one most important rule is that you should enjoy Nepal treks– and that is the same for an Annapurna Base Camp Trekking.

Total Cost- Anywhere between 800$ to 2000$ or even more per person, depends on how much you spend.
